Music: Ken has played guitar since he was 12 years old. He has a varied repertoire ranging from the Beatles and classic rock and roll to classical to today's popular bands like Greenday and 3 Doors Down. Ken doesn't consider himself a musician, as Ken says "I know some real musicians, and I am not one!" but still enjoys playing guitar and a little piano. He also enjoys listening to the same music.

Reading: Ken is an avid reader. History being one of his favorite subjects he has read extensively on World War II. Biographies are another favorite of Ken's. In keeping with his knowledge of world war II he has read biographies on Winston Churchill, one of Ken's favorite leaders, Josef Stalin and may other historical figures. But not limited to the war time era the list also includes books on the 3 Stooges, by Moe Howard, Lou Costello and John Belushi. He also has read a wide variety of other books like, What they don't teach in Harvard business school and several of humorists Lewis Grizzards books.

Football: Ken likes his Sundays off during the NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are his favorite team. Ken also coached football for six years, none of the teams ever missed the playoffs. The teams he coached scored first place seed in their league and went to the league championship game once. Ken still sees some of his players from time to time.
